Klick Health Campaign Plan
ADPR 5742: Health and Risk Communication Campaigns is a capstone course designed to teach students how to research, plan, and execute comprehensive communication campaigns for real-world health clients. Through teamwork, research reports, creative briefs, and client presentations, students apply strategic communication principles to address public health issues. The course strengthens skills in audience analysis, message testing, campaign development, and client collaboration, preparing students for campaign management roles in agencies, nonprofits, and health-focused organizations.
Our project, "Break Free with Neffy," promoted a needle-free epinephrine nasal spray as a safer, more accessible alternative for managing severe allergic reactions. The campaign addressed key barriers like cost, portability, and fear of needles, using themes of empowerment, trust, and accessibility to position neffy as the new standard in allergy treatment. As a Social Media Analyst, I contributed by researching audience behavior, developing digital engagement strategies for platforms like Instagram and X (Twitter), recommending influencer partnerships, and monitoring campaign performance through tools like Brandwatch. My role helped maximize online reach, build community trust, and ensure that our messaging effectively connected with allergy sufferers and their families.
